Registered Behavior Technician: The role of the RBT is to provide home, center, and community-based services to children and youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This includes the implementation of a treatment plan developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst addressing communication, behavior, feeding, self-help skills, and social skills. Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 individualized ABA therapy in home, center, and community-based environments

Complete necessary daily data collection and notes
-
Include parents/caregivers in sessions to promote generalization and involvement

Obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
-
Maintain patient confidentiality
-
Has reliable transportation and travels to multiple worksites
Qualifications/Skills:
-
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or able to obtain certification with 30 days of hire (training and exam fee provided by the company). Experience with Natural Environment Teaching (NET) strongly preferred.

Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making skills
-
Fun, flexible, and capable of thinking outside the box in relation to a child's interests

Able to lift up to 50 pounds and an ability to run, squat, sit on the floor, etc., for prolonged periods of time.

Required: High School Diploma (Preferred: a minimum of 2 years of college coursework in psychology, early childhood education/development, or a related field).

A minimum of one year's experience working with children, preferably children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or related developmental disabilities

Communicates effectively, verbally and in writing

Valid drivers license and current auto insurance

Passes background/fingerprint clearance through DOJ and FBI

CPR certified (provided by the company)
