Assistant Clinical Supervisor/BCBA Trainee

Full-Time

Location: Demotte; Evansville

Salary: $680-$730 per week (see description)

We are looking for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is enrolled or enrolling in a BCBA/BCaBA program to work in a hybrid RBT/Assistant Clinical supervisor role. This position requires commuting to locations within 45 minutes of Demotte, IN. 

 

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Applied Behavior Analysis in home, community, school, and clinic settings. There will be opportunities for collaboration with Teachers, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, Psychiatrists, Pediatricians, Social Workers, and other specialists.

You will accrue 10-15 unrestricted concentrated field work hours per week.

 

Examples of unrestricted hours:

  • Completing shadowing checklist with new BT’s

  • Assisting with assessments

  • Assisting with writing treatment plans

  • Conducting parent trainings for 1-3 clients

  • Case supervision of Behavior Technicians on 1-2 regular clients and as-needed

  • Monitoring and updating treatment plans for 1-3 clients

  • Reviewing and discussing research

  • Assisting with FBAs and BIPs

  • And more

You will have:

  • An RBT Caseload of 20-25 billable hours per week

    • 1 case where you provide all direct services, with the support of a BCBA (direct therapy, data analysis, assessments, parent training, program modification) (10-15 RBT hours per week)

    • 1 case where you provide RBT hours, support with assessments, and shadow a BCBA during parent training meetings, data analysis, program modification, treatment planning (5-10 RBT hours per week)

  • A supervisor caseload of 4-5 direct hours per week, and up to 10 indirect hours per week

    • 1 case where you provide supervisory-level services of clients and Behavior Technicians, with the support of a BCBA. (data analysis, assessments, parent training, program modification, RBT feedback forms, etc.)

  • Sub for client sessions as needed, or when billable caseload hours drop below 20

 

This is a 40-hour a week position. Billable RBT hours will be paid at $22/hour. Non-billable training hours will be paid at $12/hour. A minimum of 20 billable hours per week is guaranteed regardless of client cancellations, so the pay may fluctuate between $680-$790 per week. This position is eligible for PTO, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, health care stipend, and mileage reimbursement. You must be enrolled, or already be accepted into a BCBA/BCaBA program to be eligible for this position.

Registered Behavior Technician 

Full-time or Part-time

Location: Demotte; Evansville

Salary: $20-25/hour DOE

 

The role of the RBT is to provide home, center, and community-based services to children and youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This includes the implementation of a treatment plan developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst addressing communication, behavior, feeding, self-help skills, and social skills. Responsibilities: 

  • Provide 1:1 individualized ABA therapy in home, center, and community-based environments

  • Complete necessary daily data collection and notes​

  • Include parents/caregivers in sessions to promote generalization and involvement

  • Obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential

  • Maintain patient confidentiality 

  • Has reliable transportation and travels to multiple worksites

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or able to obtain certification with 30 days of hire (training and exam fee provided by the company). Experience with Natural Environment Teaching (NET) strongly preferred. 

  • Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making skills

  • Fun, flexible, and capable of thinking outside the box in relation to a child's interests

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and an ability to run, squat, sit on the floor, etc., for prolonged periods of time. 

  • Required: High School Diploma (Preferred: a minimum of 2 years of college coursework in psychology, early childhood education/development, or a related field). 

  • A minimum of one year's experience working with children, preferably children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or related developmental disabilities

  • Communicates effectively, verbally and in writing

  • Valid drivers license and current auto insurance

  • Passes background/fingerprint clearance through DOJ and FBI

  • CPR certified (provided by the company)

Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

Full-time or Part-time

Salary: $35/hour part-time or $55-$60,000 full-time​
